Emma Watson as Ana for Fifty Shades of Grey Movie?

'Fifty Shades of Grey' movie: Emma Watson considered to be cast as Ana Steele?

From brilliant witch beauty of “Harry Potter” fame to potential sexy female lead in the bedroom, actress Emma Watson has been recently called a “frontrunner” in the casting rumors as Anastasia Steele in the upcoming “Fifty Shades of Grey” movie.

In recent “Fifty Shades of Grey” film news, the “International Business Times” revealed this week that the Hermione Granger actress may be about to exchange her wand for a pair of handcuffs. According to reports from “Entertainmentwise” this Friday, Emma Watson has been considered a top casting choice to play the lucky lover Anastasia Steele in “Fifty Shades” as a fan favorite of the producers themselves.

“Fifty Shades of Grey” movie: Emma Watson cast as Anastasia Steele?

When it was confirmed in recent weeks that “The Social Network” producers Dana Brunetti and Mike DeLuca were going to be at the helm of the “Fifty Shades” film (an adaptation from the bestselling erotic novel by author EL James), fan speculation as to who would be cast as handsome billionaire Christian Grey and blue-eyed Anastasia Steele became a very hot topic, in more ways than one.

Interestingly enough, “The International Business Times” reported this week that Emma Watson (the brains-into-beauty Hermione Granger that may be recognized from the “Harry Potter” series) is a possible favorite of these two producers.

At this point, the release has not revealed why the actress is being considered for the role (or if she has shown any interest in being cast as Anastasia Steele), so the allegations are still unfounded.

However, Watson has certainly proved her skill as an actress from the “Harry Potter” movies, so the producers have said she could be a likely fit. In addition to her good looks, Watson portrays that sense of innocence Ana would need, though no amount of magic might prepare her for BDSM and graphic sex scenes with Christian Grey that would be required in the down and dirty film.

Do you think Emma Watson could play the role of Anastasia Steele? While Christian Grey is often the most hotly contested character, who do you feel should be cast as the innocent college grad turned on to the Red Room of Pain?

Fifty Shades of Grey Cast Rumors

'Fifty Shades of Grey' Movie Cast Rumors: 'Dancing with the Stars' William Levy as Christian Grey

Christian Grey has become everyone's favorite subject, and may be real to some die-hard fans who read the bestselling "Fifty Shades of Grey" novels, written by E.L. James.
For the upcoming movie, there has been no word yet on who will play the S&M crazed Christian, but new names keep popping up. The next one: William Levy.
According to Extra TV, "Dancing with the Stars" fans went crazy for telenovela star Levy. His shirtless moves last season were the talk of the ladies. The showing off of his hot bod might win him the role of sexy billion Christian Grey.

"Extra's" Mario Lopez caught up with the actor/dancer/model at The Grove and found out Levy has already read the book.
"I like the book, actually," he said. "I think all guys should be like that."
Levy, 31, has played in many Spanish TV series, including "Triunfo del amor" and "Mujeres Asesinas." He starred on two episodes on the new VH1 TV series, "Single Ladies," which stars LisaRaye and Travis Winfrey.
He was a contestant on "Dancing with the Stars" in 2012, where he stayed on the show eight episodes and was one of the top three coupled with professional dancer Cheryl Burke.
He also starred along Jennifer Lopez in her single "I'm Into You," according to celebs.gather.com.
"Fifty Shades of Grey" is the story of 22-year-old recent college grad Anastasia Steele, who enters into a dominant/submissive sexual relationship with 27-year old sexy billionaire Christian Grey, through an "agreement," and both explore the world of BDSM (bondage, dominance, submission, masochism).
Does Levy have what it takes to be dominant Christian with his sexy bod and dance moves? Only time will tell.
Recently, "Supernatural" star Jensen Ackles was put on the "Christian Grey train" of actors to play the essential role.
According to What Culture, Ackles is listed as number one on their list of ten actors that should play mysterious Christian Grey.
"Ackles would bring the necessary dark mystique, and he is another actor who has been suggested by fans," What Culture wrote. "He would certainly be a marketing savvy pick, because fans of Supernatural have been calling out for the opportunity to see him in a more erotic role for some time now."
Recently, fans revealed that they want "The Vampire Diaries" star Ian Somerhalder to play the dominating Christian Grey in the adaption of James' bestselling erotic novel.
Other stars that are rumored to play the two roles are "Immortals" star Henry Cavill, and "The Hangover" star Bradley Cooper. Some fans also said they wanted "The Dark Knight" star Christian Bale to be Grey. Recently, at the HBO panel at Comic-Con San Deigo, "True Blood" star Alexander Skarsgard said that hasn't been offered a casting part to play Christian Grey, nor has he read the book or seen a script
"Magic Mike" star Channing Tatum revealed that he would like to be Christian, but only if his wife, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, were going to be Anastasia.

Fifty Shades of Grey Movie

Latest News on Fifty Shades of Grey Film

Lola De La Cruz cried when she met author E L James. The 29-year-old fan had waited since 4 a.m. to accomplish the No. 1 thing on her Comic-Con to-do list—meet the writer of "Fifty Shades of Grey"—and 12 hours later, she got her chance.
"The relationship that's in the book is something that I've always wanted and haven't gotten in previous relationships, so it kind of gave me that hope that there's something still out there," she said as she wiped away tears after meeting James Thursday at the pop-culture convention. "It brought me back to life, so to speak."
James can relate. The 49-year-old mother of two was a fan herself, moved to start writing after reading Stephenie Meyer's "Twilight" series.
"I don't think I've ever been swept up in something like I was swept up with that," James said Thursday before her Comic-Con appearance in San Diego. "I read them and reread them and reread them, and then I sat down and wrote a novel."
That book hasn't been published—yet—but she followed by posting new pieces online. Those stories found an instant audience and eventually became "Fifty Shades of Grey."
Thursday's visit wasn't the London-based writer's first time at Comic-Con. She actually had come once before to participate in a panel for fans who wrote fiction inspired by the "Twilight" series.
Now, she's the bestselling author of her own literary phenomenon—a romantic trilogy that commanded a seven-figure publishing price, has been translated into 42 languages, is dissected by book clubs and talk-show hosts and set to be made into a movie by the Oscar-nominated producers of "The Social Network."
"It's just crazy," James said, sipping a latte on the patio of a hotel near the San Diego Convention Center. "This whole thing has just been mindboggling, how it's happened and how it's exploded, and so quickly."
The "Fifty Shades" books, which follow the relationship between college student Anastasia Steele and billionaire-bachelor-with-a-taste-for-bondage Christian Grey, were published in April by a division of Random House, Inc. and have already sold more than 16 million copies.
So what's the appeal of the titillating tale?
"It's a fantasy novel," James said. "It's a love story at its heart, which I think women like to read—a passionate love story. It's got some kinky sex in it, which is kind of interesting. ... I mean he is just ridiculously wealthy, ridiculously accomplished, as well, and it's nice to go on a holiday and just escape into their world."
As 30-year-old fan Jennifer Norling of San Francisco put it: "There's humor, there's love, it's intense. It's pretty much everything a woman would want in her love life."
But, please, don't call it "mommy porn."
Though James said she doesn't want to be "a social commentator," she isn't a big fan of the term some journalists and pundits have used to describe her books' erotic content and female fan base.
"I think it is disparaging. It's actually quite misogynistic," she said. "Women like sex. If it's done well, it's really quite good fun."
Also fun for fans of the book—and James herself—is speculating who will play the central characters on screen. Readers share endless ideas on Twitter, and while James finds some of their suggestions perplexing, she hasn't ruled anyone out. She also betrays no favorites.
Besides, she's still not sure how involved she'll be in the production or if she might contribute to the screenplay. Universal Pictures and Focus Features announced producers Michael De Luca and Dana Brunetti earlier this week, "so it's like, what's next?" she said.
She almost didn't want to do the movie at all.
"Books are such a personal experience for every individual reader," she said. "I just thought it's going to be really hard to do."
But she owed it to herself—and to her story—to go for it.
"If the book says anything, it's life's not a dress rehearsal," she said. "Just go and do stuff. I'm trying to embrace that."

Fifty Shades of Grey

Shades of Christian

With the three books finished, many people are wondering if E. L. James will write the novel Shades of Christian. This book will most likely be from the viewpoint of Christian (much like author Stephanie Meyer of twilight has planned on doing towards Edward Cullens point of view).

Coming Soon

There are two thing to defiantly look forward to.
1. Fifty Shades of Grey the movie
2. Shades of Christian

I cannot wait!
